1. Program Description
Backup Logistics LLC sends the following types of SMS messages to carriers, drivers, and business partners:
- Conversational messages: Two-way dispatch coordination and load negotiations
- Informational messages: Load confirmations, pickup/delivery updates, rate confirmations, schedule changes, paperwork reminders, settlement and payment notices, and operational alerts
We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.
2. Consent and Opt-In
You consent to receive SMS messages from Backup Logistics LLC by:
- Ticking the SMS consent box on our SMS consent form, or on our contact, quote, carrier inquiry or carrier onboarding form
That is the only way. Giving us your phone number is not consent to text you, and we do not treat it as such. Writing your mobile number on an onboarding form, saying it to a dispatcher, or signing a rate confirmation that carries it does not opt you in. Somebody has to tick a box.
Consent is not required as a condition of purchase or of using our services. The checkbox is never pre-ticked and is never required to submit any form other than the consent form itself, whose only purpose is to opt in.
The wording you agree to is recorded with your submission, along with the date and time, so we can show exactly what you were shown. You can ask us for that record at any time.
3. Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive one final confirmation. No further messages will be sent to that number.
You may also opt out by emailing hr@backuplogistics.us with your number and request.
4. Help
Reply HELP to any message or contact us at hr@backuplogistics.us or call 609-609-3148 for support. Dispatch answers 24/7.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. What we will never text you
We will never ask you by text for a password, a bank account or routing number, a card number, a factoring login, or a payment of any kind. We will never text you a link asking you to sign in to anything. If a message claiming to be from Backup Logistics asks for any of that, it is not from us: call 609-609-3148 and tell us so we can warn the rest of our carriers.
6. Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on your active load and dispatch activity. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.
7. Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates.
