What you are consenting to

If you opt in, Backup Logistics LLC will text the mobile number you give us about work that is already in motion. Everything below is operational. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we do not text you about anything you have not asked us about.

Load offers and dispatch coordination

Loads that fit your equipment and your lanes, and the back-and-forth that goes with booking one.

Pickup and delivery updates

Appointment times, detention, reschedules, directions, and anything that changes while a load is running.

Rate confirmations and paperwork

Confirmation that a rate con or a signed agreement went out, and reminders when a BOL or POD is still missing.

Settlement and payment notices

When a settlement is processed and when payment has been sent.

What we will never text you: We will never ask you by text for a password, a bank account or routing number, a card number, a factoring login, or a payment of any kind, and we will never text you a link asking you to sign in to anything. Is consent required?: No. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, of getting a load, or of doing business with Backup Logistics LLC in any way.

See, correct or delete what we hold

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hr@backuplogistics.us and we will respond within 30 days. Some records, such as signed agreements, rate confirmations and settlement history, we are required to keep for tax and regulatory reasons even after you leave, and we will tell you which ones those are.

Your opt-in is never sold or shared

No mobile information, mobile opt-in, or text message consent is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is not sold, rented or traded, ever. It is used to run your freight, and nothing else: the messaging, email, hosting and database providers that operate this service for us, and the shipper, receiver or facility on a load you are actually running. Our Privacy Policy sets out every case in full.
